Daan - A film with a social message

A quick question - Which was the last movie you watched, which had some kind of social message? If you think over it, the answer can be real tough, in the present era of commercial cinema. Since the early days of Bhojpuri Cinema, there are not many films, which gave any kind of social message to the audience.

So it is pleasing to note that at last a film was launched last week promoting "Eye-Donation" among the masses. "When I heard about the mission behind this film, there was no reason to decline it. In my whole career, I had never seen any film, which tries to deliver a social message, as much as it does", said Kunal Singh. When commercialism is getting upper hand in every sphere of social life any effort to do something socially relevant should be encouraged.
