Munni Bai Nautanki Wali talks on Sangeet Bhojpuri

Munni Bai Nautanki Wali is based on the real story of nautanki girls who organize their shows during marriages and other festive occasions in the villages. This film highlights the exploitation of nautanki girls while attending various marriages. The film tries to showcase their pains, their realities while they still continue entertaining the crowd. Rani Chatterjee plays the lead role of Munni Bai Nautanki Wali while, Bali, is the hero and director of the film.

Sangeet Bhojpuri met up with the duo, Baali and Rani, who shared their experiences during the making of the film.
Rani Chatterjee relates an incident while shooting for a dance sequence, where the stage broke and she fell down, sustaining a minor injury. Baali talks about how difficult it is to act and direct in the movie at the same time. When asked about the music in the film, they said that the film has more of item numbers but there are some romantic songs as well. The film is sure to entertain with its songs and dance sequences.
In this half an hour special programme, Rani and Baali have described their memorable moments while shooting at Bhadohi (U.P).
