Bhojpuri singer Kalpna is ashamed of her fellow artists behaviour. She has condemned Manoj Tiwary for getting a postal stamp published by a private firm and later on publicisin it as a mark of honour from a foreign government.

Kalpna is busy participating in the reality show of NDTV, Junoon...Kuch Kar Dikahne ka as a Bhojpuri singer. She said that we should concentrate on positive work instead of these cheap gimmicks.

It all started as a whisper and is now taking the dimensions of a whirlwind. Anjoria.com, the first Bhojpuri Website, raised a question on 22nd May 2008 after Manoj Tiwari was felicitated by Bihar Governor for being honored by Netherlands Government which was said to have issued a postage stamp to honour Bhojpuri Super Star Manoj Tiwari.

Anjoria.com was looking for the sample of the said postage stamp to include in its Tatka Khabar - the daily news basket in Bhojpuri presented to its worldwide visitors. What was unearthed in the process was shocking.

First it was found that Netherland Government does not run a postal service and this service there is in private hands. TNT post runs the postal services in many countries, including Netherlands.

Then looking further deep it was found that TNT post offers all and sundry to get a postage stamp printed of their choice! And that too in the 44 eurocents denomination.

Now the puzzle was solved! Manoj Tiwary was not honored by the Dutch government. No postage stamp was issued in his honour. However someone did get these stamps printed and send samples to Manoj Tiwary and his spin masters took thereafter. All the newsmedia were plastered with the news, and no news media thought it prudent to verify the matter, not even the Governor of Bihar and his officers before felicitating Manoj Tiwari.

Anjoria did try to contact Manoj Tiwary to know the actual story from his stand point but he is consistently refusing to answer the phone.

Anjoria.com was the first website to publish this story and raised a question. Now many bigwigs have jumped in and are highlighting this matter without ever mentioning Anjoria.com.

Is Manoj Tiwari such a Bhola Shankar ? Or did he play a poor publicity stunt? Only he can answer it, and he is not saying anything. So wait till then.
